Moviltik, the new app for paying for blue zones in real time

Pay in the blue zone from your mobile phone for the actual amount of time you’re parking and avoid fines with a simple and intuitive app. Pavapark, Vectalia, and Cuatroochenta presented Moviltik at Valencia City Hall Square, as part of the 1st Sustainable Mobility Fair. This app, conceived and developed in the Valencian Community, aims to become a new standard for virtual parking across the country. Moviltik will be available for Android and iOS as a free download and will allow users to pay for blue, orange, or other regulated parking zones (ORA) from their mobile phone. This means users can forget about carrying cash, searching for parking meters, prepaying for a time slot, and leaving the ticket on their vehicle’s dashboard. All they need to do is quickly register, enter the vehicle’s license plate, and locate the car so the controller can validate it. Secure and discreet payment The app, presented at the Sustainable Mobility Fair, allows payment through an online gateway with PCI security certification, which protects consumer information and transaction data. Most importantly, it only charges for the actual time the vehicle is parked, as the app notifies the driver when the ticket is about to expire
