World Environment Day at PAVAPARK

Yesterday, Thursday, June 5th, was World Environment Day. This year, the UN program aims to highlight the growing scientific evidence on the effects of plastic pollution and invites us to reflect on and change our relationship with this material. The goal is clear: reject, reduce, reuse, recycle, and, above all, rethink our plastic consumption to build a cleaner and more sustainable future. At Pavapark, we are committed to the environment, applying all our efforts, technology, and measures to our parking lots and facilities. Today, we want to contribute to this important cause by involving our employees. Therefore, we have proposed a small challenge to all of us who work in the office. We hope this will be the beginning of many future actions in favor of the environment, and we hope we can extend it to the entire company in the coming years. Some of the proposed actions: 1. Wear green 2. Sustainable transport 3. Contribution of environmental ideas 4. Test questions 5. Forever plants 6. Canteen 7. Share a post on social media 8. War on plastic bags. This challenge allows the most conscientious workers to earn points and be eligible for a sustainable prize. Some of the workers’

Pavapark implements a new intelligent management system for markets and loading and unloading areas in Fortuna, Murcia.

The municipality of Fortuna (Murcia) is taking another step in modernizing its infrastructure with the implementation of an innovative management system for its local market and the adjacent loading and unloading areas. Pavapark has developed a platform, complemented by specific applications, for managing the local market and, in turn, optimizing the organization and control of loading and unloading areas. This new system will allow merchants and transporters to have real-time information on the availability of loading and unloading spaces, thus streamlining the flow of goods and improving market operations. Furthermore, the platform will allow local governments to monitor and manage these spaces more efficiently, reducing potential incidents and optimizing the use of public land. With this initiative, Fortuna City Council reinforces its commitment to modernizing its urban services, incorporating technological tools that improve the experience of merchants, transport workers, and residents. This implementation follows the trend of other cities that have integrated digital solutions to optimize public space and improve mobility. The new tool implemented by Pavapark will not only contribute to better organization of the local market, but will also promote mobility and commerce in the town. This modernization is part of the city council’s efforts to make Fortuna

Pavapark will implement 2,000 smart parking spaces in Valencia.

The city of Valencia is gradually moving toward becoming “smarter.” In addition to containers that notify the administration when they are full and public Wi-Fi networks distributed throughout the city, the city council will improve its “smart” parking project. This project, initiated by the previous municipal government, takes another step forward this Friday with the award of the contract for the installation of new sensors for smart parking space management, in addition to those already in place since 2022. Thus, this Friday, the Governing Board awarded the aforementioned contract to Pavapark for almost one million euros (982,000 euros). The contract aims to “increase the number of sensor-equipped parking spaces” for people with reduced mobility and loading and unloading areas. Specifically, the plan is to implement 2,000 new sensors, which are responsible for recognizing the status of each space in real time, information that is integrated into the municipal platform, which is already in operation. Valencia City Council currently has 1,098 parking sensors (689 for reduced mobility, 317 for loading and unloading, and 92 at taxi ranks). Another tender is underway to install sensors for an additional 250 spaces. This contract would add to the two thousand new sensors distributed throughout
