Pavapark installs two educational radars and two smart pedestrian crossings in Cullera.

The company Pavapark, a specialist in mobility management and the integration and development of smart city solutions, part of the Pavasal group, has completed the installation of two educational radars and two smart pedestrian crossings in Cullera, thus strengthening the City Council’s commitment to transforming the municipality into a Smart City. Cullera belongs to the National Network of Smart Tourist Destinations and plans to invest the aid received from the Next Generation Funds in the coming months in the digital, green, and sustainable transition, and in improving energy efficiency and competitiveness. The two educational radars installed by PAVAPARK are located on the Bega Bridge and on Corbera Street before the intersection with Fortaleny Street. These are two key locations connecting Cullera with the A-38. These radars display the approaching speed of vehicles on a screen. This helps to raise drivers’ awareness of their speed limits. Furthermore, radar screens offer the option of adding messages and icons. On the other hand, regarding smart pedestrian crossings, one is located on one of Cullera’s main streets, Avenida del Racó, at the intersection with Calle Águila. The pedestrian crossing in question is made up of fourteen 50 x 50 cm horizontal illuminated signaling plates

Pavapark installs two smart pedestrian crossings in Macastre

PAVAPARK, as the successful bidder for the “Supply of devices for smart road safety solutions for pedestrian crossings, installation, and integration” contract, has built two smart pedestrian crossings in Macastre as part of the 2021 call for proposals for smart city initiatives from the Provincial Council of Valencia. The smart pedestrian crossings installed by PAVAPARK are located at two key points on the main road through Macastre, Av. del País Valenciano. One is located near the Health Center and the other at the entrance to the Sports Center. The installation of these elements improves road safety for residents and visitors of Macastre. The solution consists of two vertical light signals at each pedestrian crossing and a set of road studs that flash when any pedestrians are detected preparing to cross. Thus, when a pedestrian is about to cross at one of the two pedestrian crossings, the vertical light signals and road studs are activated and begin to flash, emitting an indicator light to approaching drivers. Furthermore, the number of activations of the detection sensor system, as well as the energy consumption of each system, are sent from the master signal of each crossing to PAVAPARK’s CLARA Smart City Platform and
