General description
The Plaza de Castilla Courts parking garage is located in the Tetuán district, specifically in the Castillejos/Maragall neighborhood. It is a north-central area, close to Plaza de Castilla, one of Madrid’s most important transportation hubs.
The Madrid Judicial Complex, one of the most important in Spain, is located in Plaza de Castilla. It houses: Investigating Courts, Criminal Courts, Courts for Cases of Violence Against Women, the District Attorney’s Office, police stations, and the Civil Registry (some functions).
It’s an area with a high density of both residential and office buildings (business centers), giving it a mixed professional and residential character. The best example of this is the famous KIO Towers (Puerta de Europa), two iconic twin towers, and Distrito 798, a space for events, culture, and gastronomy located nearby (at Joan Maragall 43), with an Asian aesthetic.
Furthermore, this neighborhood has metro lines, commuter trains, and bus lines, making it one of the most accessible neighborhoods in all of Madrid.
