The Villarrobledo City Council (Albacete) and the company Pavapark have unveiled the municipality’s first publicly accessible electric vehicle charging station. This project is included among the improvements to the blue zone management contract awarded to Pavapark.
Villarrobledo’s vehicle registry lists around 40 electric vehicles. In this context, the new charging station has been installed on San Bernardo Street, in front of the Local Police offices, with the aim of responding to public demands and serving visitors, while also contributing to environmental protection.
This is a dual charging station for two vehicles, allowing single-phase charging up to 7 kW and three-phase charging up to 22 kW, so the charging speed depends on the technology of each vehicle. This infrastructure is scheduled to be operational by the end of March, when the municipal plenary session approves the ordinance regulating the service’s prices.
Moviltik App and BeePark management platform
Through Pavapark‘s Moviltik app, which is already being used to pay for blue-zone parking in Villarrobledo, top-ups and payments can be easily made from a mobile device.
Likewise, the BeePark management platform, also from Pavapark, integrates data from the mobility services managed in the municipality to provide a comprehensive service management and visualization solution.
